Lyric D. Stewart
Once finished his articling year, Lyric plans to focus his practice in family law and civil litigation; however, he also has a deep interest in the criminal justice system. With a background in student leadership both prior and during law school, he is committed to connecting with clients from diverse backgrounds and life experiences to help them achieve meaningful resolutions. Having lived in nearly half of Canada’s provinces, Lyric brings a broad perspective and a strong ability to build personal connections, qualities he uses to advocate effectively on behalf of his clients.
Outside of work, Lyric enjoys spending time with his wife, Milana, who was the one who brought him to Brandon in the first place. He also enjoys reading, running, and exploring local hot spots.

Areas of Interest
Lyric’s R.E.P.O.R.T
(R)EADING: I love exploring other realities through fantasy and sci-fi novels. I am currently working my way through the Dune series!
(E)ATING: My favorite food is pizza, and my favorite place to order from is Pizza Express. Controversially, I prefer cheese or vegetarian pizza.
(P)LAYING: I love playing board games with friends and family. I also enjoy playing silly games online with my friends from my hometown.
(O)RDERING: Controversially, I am not a fan of shopping. My wife orders enough stuff online for the two of us anyway.
(R)ECOMMENDING: As I went to law school in Halifax, I would recommend for anyone from the prairies to explore the East Coast.
(T)REATING: I can’t resist a nice walk on a beautiful sunny day with a stop at Tim’s for an XL regular.
